The Fate of the Furious is the 8th movie in the Fast and the Furious series. Series started out about Pretty Girls and Fast Cars and has evolved into kind of a low level super hero series. Still some pretty girls but only in first segment really and fast cars but the only ‘race’ is in the first segment.
The series has picked up quite a few stars as it has gone along, The Rock, Jason Statham, Ludacris, Kurt Russell…Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez have been with the series since the beginning.
One problem is the movie is predictable. You know the main character, the heart of the series isn’t really going to turn into a bad guy. Two guys that were trying to kill each other in the last movie shouldn’t become best buds in this one.
What is has going for it is a fast pace, good, seamless special effects, and great fight scenes. This is probably the best of the series so far(there will be at least 2 more). So if you are in the mood for some mindless action that isn’t too insulting to your intelligence, then go see this movie.
