I liked Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Best in the series since the first one. No crazy sub-plots no dream or hallucination sequences, just a good movie.
Only problem is Johnny Depp needs a strong character to play off of or his Captain Jack Stick looses a bit. But since it looks like Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley will be in the next movie or two things are looking up for this series. And then I wrote up a bunch more, published it and when I was doing my Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 review somehow deleted it all…
